As of 12:00 am Sunday morning, the province of New Brunswick is enacting new laws. Indoor gatherings can not exceed 20, and outdoor groups can not exceed 50. Not that many people are meeting outdoors in New Brunswick in December.

The most shocking new rules are what will be enforced for shopping. Masks and social distancing will continue to be implemented. The addition is the vaccine passport. This will be executed in malls, gyms, salons, and grocery stores that have the option to require them.

This means people who have made the personal choice not to take the vaccine will be limited in where they can groceries and potentially not have the ability to get groceries. We need to keep an eye on what grocery stores choose to enforce this. We can stand up for the rights of the people in New Brunswick. Once we see what chains enforce the passport, we can refuse to shop in those stores, no matter where we live. Once we hear from people living in New Brunswick, we will update you.

New Brunswick isn’t the only province of Ontario to use the passport system. Ontario will only allow those with Vaccine passports to visit gyms, movie theaters, restaurants, indoor meeting and event spaces, sports activities, waterparks, casinos, theaters, racing tracks, and dance clubs. Unvaccinated people are in lockdown, while the vaccinated people are free. I could not attend my daughter’s grade 12 theater production unless I were willing to show a passport.  Hospitals are permitted to refuse unvaccinated people from visiting hospitals.

The future does not look good for Canada. While the government is not enforcing churches to use the passport system, many churches have started to use them.

Would you please keep Canada in your prayers?
