We are inundated with bad news. The old saying is valid, If it bleeds, it leads. Amid this all-out attack from all sides, I think it’s about time for some good news. So here are just a few reasons we can take heart. They are in no particular order, but as you read these things, strengthen yourself in the fact that we have not given up, no far from the truth.
The Supreme Court has refused the case concerning Texus’s ban on abortion once a heartbeat is detected. This refusal means that that ban stands and will save more lives.
In Florida, the governor has taken a stand regarding companies demanding employees take the vaccine. In Florida, any company or organization found to be mandating the shot will be fined $5000
Finally, out of Success, Missouri, a school has stood for honoring our fallen troops.
A principal set aside one table in the cafeteria, placing 13 trays for each of the soldiers who gave their lives in Afghanistan. As the students filed in for lunch, they gave curious glances over to the trays. Once everyone was seated, the principal explained what happened and what the plans were for the trays. She asked for a moment of silence, but to her surprise, the students were silent all through lunch. After tossing their trays, they all filed past the table of honor—each student with their hand over their heart or tears in their eyes. It just goes to show that there is still hope for this next generation.
With all these stories, there is a small flame of hope that all is not lost, we still have some fight in us, and we will not lay down and die.
Pray up, armor up, and war strong.
We need this now more than ever.
God bless,
Teresa Blaes
