Grace Life Church has been in the news for the last month. They have refused to close their doors, defying the Alberta order. The Pastor, James Coates, has been fined, arrested, and imprisoned. During his improvement elders took his place in the pulpit. The first Sunday after his release he was back in his pulpit. Last week Police tried to enter the sanctuary during his sermon and were refused entry.

The next day police set up two levels of fencing seizing the church and its property.

This Sunday Grave Life Church met in an undisclosed location, joining other churches that are now meeting underground.  While the church was meeting in a private location, protestors arrived on the scene of Grace Life Church.  The protestors began to tear down the fence.

That is when over 200 police arrived in riot gear to surround the church property.

Lines have been crossed that seem unimaginable.  Watching police surround a church in riot gear is not something that has happened in Canadian history.  Pray for the Canadian church.
