Last week I wrote about Governor Gavin Newsom’s attack on churches, banning chanting and singing in worship services.

Now he’s doubled down, and now has banned singing and bible studies in people’s homes, regardless of the number of people present.

Unfortunately, he is not the only governor going after churches, and God’s faithful. Liberty Council, one of the biggest fighters for religious liberty, is in the middle of 4 other cases in Illinois, Kentucky, Maine and Virginia. California is the fifth case against Governors who want to  restrict and outright ban people of faith from worshiping God as they see fit.

Liberty council is not the only firm taking action against Governor Newsom the American Center for Law and Justice, “ACLJ” is also filing to put a stop to these horrible mandates that target people of faith.

I can’t help but think of Peter in the book of Acts when he was told not to preach in the name of Yeshua any more, he answered, “you choose, whether we should obey man or obey God.” Acts 4:19 This question remains today, perhaps even stronger in contrast to when Christians first came on the scene.

I know if it were me, I would obey God despite what this tyrant of a governor says.

Listen to this song by Newsboys for the right response to this crisis

This is yet another proof that we are living in the last days, where evil is praised, and good is condemned. We must stand up for the rights we have, or guaranteed, they will be taken away.

Now more than ever, we must pray up, armor up, and war strong.

God Bless,
