What can we learn  from the two political conventions?

Over the last two weeks, we have seen week-long conventions by both political parties.

However, when all is said and done, what have we learned?

The truth is, not much each candidate for president has a vision, but you in the end must choose what vision will win out.

Will we be a country that believes in Marxist ideology, restricting freedoms, and the murder of our young?

Or will we allow people to create their own income, protect life in the womb, and promote the constitution and freedom?

Do we believe in capitalism, or in socialism?

Do we believe that this experiment called America can go on, or will we fundamentally change it into something grotesque, that robs its citizens of their rights?

And finally, who do we believe gave us the rights we so hold dear, God or Government?

The answer to that question will tell us a lot about the future of our country.

It starts with you, and it starts with me.

We must choose, and take a stand.

I’m not talking about the kind of stand we are seeing play out in the streets filled with violence and hate.

No, this kind of stand is about showing love to our enemies, while at the same time speaking truth into the darkness.

We must remind ourselves that everything political has a spiritual root and that everything God approved will by nature be enemy opposed..

Above all, we must pray up, armor up, and war strong.

God bless,
Teresa Blaes.
