Here in New Mexico We are starting to see signs that we are being conditioned to obey and if we do not conform to the narrative, then we get locked down. Just this week, the Governor shut down about a dozen grocery stores, supposedly because of more than 4 COVID cases among the employees
In addition, They’ve limited all the stories in the state causing people to have to stand in extremely long lines just to be able to go in and buy groceries. We sent someone to pickup a few items the other day, and they had to wait in line for over 3 hours!
The state has come up with a solution. The store management can present a plan to require all the employees to test for COVID and if they obey, they get to open and conduct business as usual. If they don’t submit to constant testing, they have to remain closed for 2 weeks
We have seen the same pattern in other states with other similarly minded governors as they force restaurants to collect contact information from every costumer that comes in to eat.
So what? They are just trying to keep us safe right?
They’re not. All of this, the lock downs, the having to report to the government who you are serving in your own restaurants, is just grooming us for the coming state of socialism should the liberals gain the necessary power.
And what would that look like? You can expect forced vaccinations, higher taxes, long food lines, and so much more.
Many churches are having to choose between obeying God or government. I have written on this in the past, but this is still a very real concern.
If we truly love our country, if we value our liberties and freedoms, then we must make a choice and decide at what point will we stand up and say enough is enough!
There is still uncertainty about what direction our country will go, but no matter how the election turns out, we must not place our hope in man, or in government. Our hope, our only hope is in the Lord.
Many believers before us faced these same kind of choices. And these believers stood strong in the faith. I believe we can, and must do the same.
There is truly much to pray for, and as always we must pray up, armor up, and war strong.
God bless,
Teresa Blaes.
